Jenna Lee Mahan is a tattooer and artist born and raised in the country near the city of Redding in Northern California. As a youngster she spent many summers in the Texas hill country and fell in love with it’s wide open spaces and proximity to Mexico and New Mexico. There she spent over a decade tattooing in the illustrious Austin, TX scene. Jenna has been residing and tattooing in Santa Fe the past 4 years. She continues to travel and explore the West always in awe of the history, beauty and culture.

Jenna serves her community and clients, by adorning them with tattoo imagery rooted in Americana, folk, mysticism, and eastern elements on a large and small scale, black, grey and in color. In addition to tattooing and painting, the past several years Jenna has been learning a new form of artistic expression, silversmithing. Inspired by her obsession of the Southwest’s beauty and nature’s treasures, rocks and shiny things, she began her jewelry journey at Creative Side Jewelry Academy in Austin in 2019 and studied under the tutelage of Master Jeweler, Bob Weaver. Her love of horses, jewelry, plants, crystal and rocks were passed on to her at a young age from her mother. All of Jenna’s work is infused with magic, mindfulness and respect for the people, teachers, masters and crafters that came before her. She acknowledges them, with gratitude and curiosity, knowing that they have enabled her to continue old and ancient traditions in a modern world. Divine inspiration is the secret ingredient in all that she is, does and creates.

You can find her tattooing with the good folks at SHRINE Tattoo near the plaza. To inquire about a tattoo, artwork or jewelry please send a message through the contact form on this site. Thank you for stopping by! Many blessings !
